The birthday celebrations started on Thursday and went the whole way through Sunday. On Thursday we celebrated at school. Never one to miss a party Miss Tina and Baby Julia threw a cheeseburger and cupcake party for us on Friday. Friday night we took a road trip in the Nanny Van to Orlando. We stayed at the Shades of Green hotel. The next morning we went to the Magic Kingdom and met up with Cousin Carter, Aunt Heather and Uncle Mel. It rained in the morning but it did not dampen our spirits. On Sunday we had a family breakfast before departing. Carter gave us cool birthday gifts! After we took our naps we went to the Mexican restaurant and they sang “happy birthday” to us and put sombrero’s on our heads. Finally it was a cupcake birthday party at home! What a blast!

Valentines Day at our home was a bunch of fun! Mom and Dad gave us chocolate! Grandma and Pepe (Our Clothiers..aka “GranPepe”) gave us new outfits and cards. Grandboogie came over with more chocolate, a book and some gifts. We had an indoor picnic and watched the “Pothole 500″ with Dad. Here are pictures and a movie of the activities. Special thanks to Miss Tina for helping us make cards for the Grandparents!

It is hard to believe that Christmas is upon us and that the New Year is right around the corner. We are truly blessed. A year ago we were in the hospital as our daughter was fighting for her life following surgery. Everyone is healthy. Our two little guys are growing like weeds and are anxiously awaiting Santa’s arrival. Our home is a behive of activity and anticipation! If you are a first time visitor to the blog, please take a look around. We try to update it every week or two (on 2sDay of course). We love to get comments, it is our way of knowing that we had visitors!
Merry Christmas and Happy 2010

Well the blog master (TwinPop) has been delinquent with posting for 3 weeks now. Weeks one and two can be written off to a bout of the flu and a chest cold. Last week just got the best of him.
We had planned on going to visit Cousin Carter, Aunt Heather and Uncle Mel (with the magic knuckles) on Halloween. Unfortunately our Princess spiked a high fever at dinner on Friday the 30th so the plans were scuttled. A trip to the Dr. , some rest and medicine and she wanted to brave the neighborhood to get candy. We pulled our “fairy” and “scary Monster” through the neighborhood. What a bag of candy they got!
A funny side note: Karen has been trying to explain Santa so that the kids will understand a little better this year. Henry said that he wants a train. Well what do you know one of the neighbors was dressed as Santa and was passing out candy. Through out the evening we had to remind the kids to say trick or treat and thank you. Well we come to Santa handing out candy and Karen says “what do you say?” Hank replies: “I want a train”.
Halloween
Unfortunately we lost a cherished member of the family. Karen’s cat (Ed’s by marriage) of 17 years fell ill and had to be put down. She was a one woman cat, and that woman really loved her! She is missed.
Georgie
The week following Halloween the kid’s school hosted a fall festival, complete with pony rides, a maze and petting zoo. The next morning we went to the fair and saw all of the animals that we missed the night before. Our Princess just made the height needed to go on rides. Guess if they had fun. As you can see from the artwork we are getting ready for Thanksgiving.
