We’re Back…Preschool Fun

After a very long break from blogging we are back! The past few weeks were filled with activities at the preschool. We were the "Mystery Readers" for Henry's class, reading "How I became a pirate". The next week was all Kate! First a dance recital on Thursday followed by "Mystery Readers" on Friday. We read "Pinkilicious" to her class. We started off this week with our little Karate Ninja performing a demo with his class. We hope you enjoy the photos as much as we had fun with the little guys.

US+2sDay Goodbye Fay

We had an unwelcome visitor in our corner of the world this past week. Tropical Storm Fay paid us a visit.  Needless to say we were on pins and needles for a couple of days this week as she threatened to strike.  As she passed through our city, over a quarter of the homes lost power. Many trees and branches succumbed to her winds but the major story was the water that she dropped.  Thankfully we are in a home that is high and dry.  The town is soaked.   After 2 full days of being confined to our home we were all stir crazy. We did a lot of reading. We pray that Gustav does not visit.   Click your mouse on the photo to navigate through the slide show. We love to get comments. US+2sDay A Full Week

What a week we had!  We discovered that Elmo has friends...Ernie and Cookie Monster. SuperNanny outfitted us with Elmo clothing (A shirt for Mr. H and a dress for the Princess). Now Elmo has his friends to sleep with in the toy basket.  SuperNanny, Mom and Dad make us pick up our toys before we have a nap or go to bed. Mom was gone for a night last week. When she returned she brought us new books to read. What a cool Mom, we love to read!!! This weekend we got invited to a pool party. Thanks Mr & Mrs H,  you sure do know how to throw a party!!
