The birthday celebrations started on Thursday and went the whole way through Sunday. On Thursday we celebrated at school. Never one to miss a party Miss Tina and Baby Julia threw a cheeseburger and cupcake party for us on Friday. Friday night we took a road trip in the Nanny Van to Orlando. We stayed at the Shades of Green hotel. The next morning we went to the Magic Kingdom and met up with Cousin Carter, Aunt Heather and Uncle Mel. It rained in the morning but it did not dampen our spirits. On Sunday we had a family breakfast before departing. Carter gave us cool birthday gifts! After we took our naps we went to the Mexican restaurant and they sang “happy birthday” to us and put sombrero’s on our heads. Finally it was a cupcake birthday party at home! What a blast!

This week the blogmaster (TwinPop) came down with a sinus infection. From all the way around our small world a photo of one of our most frequent visitors and my friend Mohd arrived. What a nice surprise! Next week we will have a big post.
US+2sDay Christmas Greetings

It is hard to believe that Christmas is upon us and that the New Year is right around the corner. We are truly blessed. A year ago we were in the hospital as our daughter was fighting for her life following surgery. Everyone is healthy. Our two little guys are growing like weeds and are anxiously awaiting Santa’s arrival. Our home is a behive of activity and anticipation! If you are a first time visitor to the blog, please take a look around. We try to update it every week or two (on 2sDay of course). We love to get comments, it is our way of knowing that we had visitors!
Merry Christmas and Happy 2010
US+2sDay Thanksgiving Recap
December 1st, 2009 — Photos, Uncategorized
Pepe and Grandma came to our home for Thanksgiving weekend. On Thanksgiving morning we were delighted to have a new kitchen to play with in our family room. Our friends the Kato’s and Fullerton’s came over for some pre-Thankgiving cheer. The adults had Bloody Mary’s in honor of Grandpa. Grandboogie came over with the stuffing, greens and gravy (Yum!). She gave us a nativity scene which has moved all over the house. Uncle Chuckie was not able to join us but sent pies over (Thanks!). Bono’s did a great job with the Turkey. Mom and Grandma did a great job with the rest. After Pepe put his carving skills to work we feasted! We had a great Thanksgiving!
On Friday Pepe visited the Beach, Dad battled the Black Friday crowds while Mom and Grandma took us to a hands on museum. We had a blast. On Saturday we went to our local art and vegetable market. That night Dad and Mom took out Pepe and Grandma to Mortons to celebrate their anniversary. We finished off the weekend by picking out our tree and going to our church’s Crismon service. Enjoy the pictures:
