Our family gets together every September for a beach weekend. This year we returned to the Sirata. We chose to stay on the resort grounds for the weekend. On Friday night Pepe and Grandma hosted us at the on-site restaurant (Thanks!). After a very nice dinner we returned to their room and celebrated Ed's birthday. The next morning we awoke to rain. We were determined not to let the rain spoil our day. After a bit of arm twisting Twin Mom convinced us to splash around in the rain. Later that day while the twins took a nap the big folks paddleboarded in the gulf with the manatees and dolphins. We had a nice visit with the Carlson side of the family who spent time in the water with us and even hosted the pizza party that night (Thanks Uncle Karl!). Later that evening we celebrated Cousin Carter and Aunt Heather's Birthdays. Cousin Carter got a Huffy Bike from Grandma and Pepe! The weather was beautiful on Sunday morning so we splashed away in the pool before departing. Grandma sent us off with sandwiches which were yummy. We can't wait for our return next year!

This has been a busy and fun week. On Friday the kids (their parents and SuperNanny) visited the school for orientation. This will be their second year and they are excited to start. It was nice to see some of the folks that we had not seen since May. Miss Tina has kept them hoppin'. Attached are a few photos from this week's activities.

Miss Tina (aka SuperNanny) is back! She hit the ground running and our parents heads are spinning trying to keep up with all she is doing. She has been gone since April when her little bundle of joy (aka Julia) made an early entrance. We think that it is cool to have a little buddy!
Welcome back Miss Tina, we love you!
This has been a busy but fun filled week. Uncle Chuckie bought us Live lobsters from Maine on Thursday. Here is the proof. We loved them and even had lobster rolls on Sunday. Thanks FunUncle!
On Saturday Mom went off with her girlfriends to celebrate a special friend's 40th birthday. Grandboogie came over and we had a blast. We went to the park and then had Chic-fil-a. Dad even got us ice cream.
We can be good for ice cream. Miss Tina made a deal with us. If Mom and Dad said that we were good she would get us ice cream. Can you guess what they told Miss Tina on Monday?
We woke up from our nap yesterday and Miss Tina told us to get on our bathing suits. What a blast we had!

On Wednesday we said goodbye to Miss Alonna. She has been such a blessing to our family. As you probably know Miss Alonna (aka SuperNanny II) came into our lives in early April when Miss Tina (aka SuperNanny) went on maternity leave. Mom and Dad were worried that we would not find a suitable substitute for Miss Tina. Miss Alonna came into our lives and touched us all. She really gave us a great summer!! We did a variety of activities to include: library time, swim lessons, gym class, and art and learing activities. We accomplished a bunch through the hard work of Miss Alonna. We are now potty trained, sleeping in big beds, swimming, out of physical therapy and we have a home full of our art work. We were all sad to say goodbye to Miss Alonna. She started out as our Nanny and is now like a member of our family. Below is a picture of us with Miss Alonna.
We love you!
Don't forget to visit our blog next week as we welcome back Miss Tina and Baby Julia!
