Daytona Mini Vacation

A few weeks ago we went to Daytona to visit Pepe and Grandma.  We had a blast. Pepe and Grandma made all of the plans and we showed up for the fun! We had a lot of time poolside and at the beach. Pepe rented a golf cart and we drove up and down the beach. When we napped Dad visited his Aunt Eleanor. We found a great place for Ice Cream…..We shall return!

US+2sDay Alligator Farm Visit

I insisted that we would never pay to see Alligators.  After numerous friends told us what a good place the Alligator Farm is we decided to give it a try. I am glad we did.  The kids and their parents had a good time.

US+2sDay The Easter Wrap-Up

For those of you that have visited this site only to find old posts I am sorry. A lot has transpired over the past few weeks and the blog took a break.  Please note that there are four new posts. The next one down is a don’t miss.  SuperNanny had her baby and she is a real cutie!  After missing out on most of the Christmas holiday happenings due to our medical drama, we made up for it at Easter. Saturday kicked things off with a family celebration at TwinMom’s cousins home in Orlando. All of the FL crowd converged and we had a blast. There were 6 kids all under 5 years old!  Easter morning we went to church and then hosted TwinPop’s Mom (Common Tater, Grandboogie). The kids opened their baskets and Grandboogie brought a cake that we are really enjoying. It was then time for a quick nap and off to our friends home for  Easter Dinner and another egg hunt. We finished things off by watching the end of the Masters. Thanks to Jake and Kremsa and Randall and Andrea for hostings such fun parties. We really enjoyed getting together with our family and friends. On a side note, I have created a Flickr Pro account which allows me to post a lot of photos online for sharing. In the next week or so I will post a link so that anyone wising to see beyond the few select photos on the blog may.

Seaworld….a week late

We are sorry that this post is a week late. We had so much fun last week that we could not get it together for a posing last week.

What a weekend we had!  After months of planning for a visit to one of the theme parks we decided on a trip to Sea World.  Because big cousin Carter had a good time at their age we figured our guys were ready for the adventure.  Pepe and Grandma were our event planners.  What a job they did!  Pepe secured a wonderful hotel through priceline.  There was plenty of room for the kids to move about between the two adjoining rooms. On Saturday morning we woke to rain but decided to give it a go.  The sky’s cleared and we had a wonderful day.  Uncle Mel, Aunt Heather and Cousin Carter joined us for the fun.  We finished off our day with a nice family meal at a neaby restaurant.  On Sunday morning we were able to get a late check out.  This allowed the kids to wander around the resort grounds and play on their playground.

We finished off our weekend by having dinner with a dear friend from out of town.  Elizabeth and Tom spent some time with Grandboogie after attending a family funeral.  Granboogie got us all together and we had a nice meal. It was good to renew old frienships and make new ones!
