Us+2sDay on Wednesday…Cousin Carter Video

Aunt Heather sent us this video of Cousin Carter singing. We liked it so much, that we asked dad to put it on our blog so that we could view it often.  We are thankful for Cousin Carter. Happy Thanksgiving! [flashvideo filename=wp-content/video/Carter.flv /]

US+2sDAY What A Date!

This is our week in Pictures: (To enlarge any photo select it with your mouse) This week was a little cold, so we dressed Mr. H in cold weather gear. All was fine until we tried to take off his hat!  He let us know that he wanted to continue wearing it.  According to his teacher he wore it for half of the morning before they were able to pry it off of his head. We have been trying to teach the kids about the holidays. They know turkey and the sound that it makes. Santa says HO, HO, HO Merry Christmas and brings toys and books.  They have really enjoyed looking at the Christmas video clips on the computer. The above picture is the two of them viewing a Santa video on Dad's Computer.

Sometimes you just need a hug!

My cousin Dan (AKA Uncle Fix-it) came down for a visit. He really helped my Mom (AKA Grand Boogie, Common Tater) with a lot of heavy labor chores.  We are all gratefull for what he has done for my Mom.  We were able to get together on Friday night for Pizza.  Afterwards he showed us photo's of his trip to Italy to visit his son's family.  What a wonderful trip! For those of you that wondered what the title of this week's blog entry meant here is the explanation.  SuperNanny and SuperManny gave TwinPop a wonderful gift of their time for his birthday.  On Saturday night they came to our home and took the kids out to look at pets in the mall and have Pizza.  TwinMom and TwinPop finally had a real date! We really had a great time and are very gratefull for the wonderful gift!  The photos above are of an outfit we got for their daughter (aka Princess Z ).

US+2sDay Veteran’s Day

We had a great weekend filled with all kinds of fun! On Friday Cousin Carter, Aunt Heather and Uncle Melvin (aka Chuckie) came up for a visit.  Dad was sick but we convinced him that the fall festival at our school was the medicine that the Dr ordered.  We had a nice meal, especially Chuckie who went back for thirds on the chicken. After dinner we rode ponies, petted the animals in the petting zoo and played in the playground.  The next morning everyone but Dad went to the fair. We had a great time seeing all of the animals, riding the rides and playing the games. Uncle Mel even won a stuffed rodent!  That evening Aunt Heather and Uncle Mel went to a wedding.  What a time we had with cousin Carter.  We had a gourmet meal of grilled cheese and grapes.  Mom and Dad took all of us on a walk through the neighborhood.  When we got home we splashed around in the tub until Mom said quits! To finish off the evening we had some juice and watched Curious George.  Sunday was a sad day, we played at the playground and then had to say bye to everyone. We can't wait for the next visit!

If you liked the post please leave a comment.  More importantly take the time to thank a veteran today.  Someone is standing guard today so you can enjoy the freedom that we enjoy in this great country. To my Dad I can pray that you hear my prayers of thanks for your service.  Pepe thank you for your service.  To my brother I thank you for being on watch and admire the service that you continue to provide.

Be patient as the slideshow loads. There are 17 photos.

US+2sDay Ten Years

We started the week with our first "Parents Night" at the kid's school.  We enjoyed the visit and were happy to hear that our two were doing fine.  The next day SuperNanny picked them up and looked at Princess' shoes.  It seems that the teachers found a way to keep her shoes on! Shoe Tape

On Wednesday we were back at school. This time for donuts with Dad.  What a time we all had! Can you guess who dressed us?

Donuts with Dad

It is hard to believe that 10 years has passed from the day we said "I do". The first 10 years of forever together has been wonderful.  TwinMom has not changed a bit, but I have taken a liking to her cooking!
