US+2sDay Veteran’s Day

We had a great weekend filled with all kinds of fun! On Friday Cousin Carter, Aunt Heather and Uncle Melvin (aka Chuckie) came up for a visit. Dad was sick but we convinced him that the fall festival at our school was the medicine that the Dr ordered. We had a nice meal, especially Chuckie who went back for thirds on the chicken. After dinner we rode ponies, petted the animals in the petting zoo and played in the playground. The next morning everyone but Dad went to the fair. We had a great time seeing all of the animals, riding the rides and playing the games. Uncle Mel even won a stuffed rodent! That evening Aunt Heather and Uncle Mel went to a wedding. What a time we had with cousin Carter. We had a gourmet meal of grilled cheese and grapes. Mom and Dad took all of us on a walk through the neighborhood. When we got home we splashed around in the tub until Mom said quits! To finish off the evening we had some juice and watched Curious George. Sunday was a sad day, we played at the playground and then had to say bye to everyone. We can't wait for the next visit!

TwinPop & TwinMom this is really a neat site. I have checked it several times but never posted. It’s all I can do to keep up with email! The kids are sure growing up and look so cute. I hope to be able to see you all again soon. I cannot believe it’s been ten years. I remember coming down with Barb and then giving you a ride to your hotel I think. I too remember veterens day and thank your side of the family for all your service. There are not many days that go by that I don’t speak well of your dad, you or Chuck to someone. I’m pretty proud of you and that we are family.
Well, I guess I pressed the right button because my REAL name is no longer on this site. Anyway, I said that I really had a lot of catching up to do since I was without a computer (Dell is a 4-letter word!) for 15 days. I loved the Halloween photos and those of the visit with uncle, aunt, and cousin. “Princess” is very lady-like in all of the photos with Mr. H and cousin except the ice-cream-cone photo! She was into it, wasn’t she?! Our family is blessed to have so many veterans. Thanks to all of you VETS! You’re deeply appreciated. Love, Boogie, Sr. (aka Common Tater)
