US+2sDay Dancing

Well another week is behind us and we are soaked!  We woke up Saturday morning with plans to go to the zoo.  Lying in bed we heard buckets of rain on our roof.  Needless to say our plans were rained out. We spent the weekend dodging rainstorms but managed to do some needed shopping.  Sunday we decided to take the kids to Books A Million.  They had a blast and we got a workout chasing them through the store!

We departed with Grover and Big Bird from Sesame Street. That night they each went to bed with their new friends. Our home is beginning to look like Sesame Street.  We only need a few more characters and they will have the whole crew.

Mr H made up for not visiting the zoo by doing the zoo puzzle.  He is facinated by the animals and knows what noises most of the animals make.

The video this week is of our Princess.  She is quite the dancer!

US+2sDay Our first Art!

Click on the photos to see a larger image!   Mother's Morning out has been fun for our terriffic twosome.  On Thursday we were presented with their first artwork  (Princess is on the top, Mr. H on the bottom in the above photo). One of the songs of the week at Mother's Morning out was "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star".  When Dad started to sing this song Princess broke out her finest dance moves and lit up the floor!    Mr. H was under the weather all day long on Friday. We were concerned for him. Plenty of fluids, a lot of TLC from SuperNanny, Mom & Dad, along with a good night's sleep and he was back in fighting form on Saturday.   We packed up the minivan and went to St. Augustine to window shop on the old street. We finished off with a lunch and then it was home for naps. This is a labor of love. If you have visited the site please take the time to drop us a quick one liner. We love to read your comments.

US+2sDay Part 2: Beach Weekend 2008

A long standing tradition in our family is to get together at the beach. Our part of the family got an early start this year and stoped for an overnight visit with Grandma and Pepe. Over the course of the weekend we enjoyed a lot of time together, ate some good food, did a lot of swimming both in the pool and at the beach and celebrated 3 birthdays. We already have our calendars blocked out for next year!   Weekend Goodies:
  • Cousin Carter and the Princess Make quite a dynamic duo.
  • If you are going to feed the fish make sure the seagulls are not lurking neaby.
  • Skip & Flip have a new buddy and his name is Chip Felix.
  • An ounce of pretzels is worth a pound of gold if you want your sanity.
  • Sand is fun but it does not taste good.
  • Pepe takes one fine picture at sunset.

We have two posts today. Make sure to visit both! If you liked these posts please leave a comment. We love to hear from our family and friends.

US+2sDay School Time

We started Mother's Morning Out this week.  All went well until the hand off.  The Princess did not want to stay.  At pick up time the teacher assured SuperNanny that the kids adjusted nicely.  Mister H made SuperNanny's day with a big "HI" and a hug at the first pick up.
