US+2sDay Dad’s Little Race Fan
February 17th, 2009 | Photos, twins
Mr H has started to watch the NASCAR races with Dad. He even has taken a liking to the Dale Earnhardt hat. I could not pry it off his head on Saturday.
On Sunday Grandma came over to watch the Daytona 500. We shared our snacks with her.

Go, Michael! (Waltrip, that is!) I can’t believe that Super Mom was checking into a hotel in Atlanta recently at the same time as my favorite driver! I would have been ecstatic! How she kept her calm, I don’t know! Anyway, I thoroughly enjoyed my hour’s worth of watching the Daytona 500 (380 because of weather this year) with my racing fans. However, I think that Super Mom and I would agree that it’s a lot nicer watching the races at home than scrunched into a high-priced, uncomfortable seat at the track. Guess we women just haven’t become “Red necks” yet! Love always, Common Tater (aka Boogie, Sr.)
I would not blame Mr.H for being possessed
with his Dale Earnhardt hat. This is better than
convincing him to put it on! Is Katie gonna get
her Dale Earnhardt lady’s one. NASCAR Daytona
500 big‘n famous race. Nice to have her watch
the race, grandma is always showering all of us
with her continuous love ’n care.
Common Tater, for sure, this time: What a sweet, thoughtful comment we received from our friend “across the pond.” He and his family are always in our hearts. They have blessed us. Isn’t it wonderful how modern technology can keep us in touch?! Love to one and all, Boogie, Sr. (Common Tater ’cause I just can’t shut up!)
Great updates. We plan on attending the Birthday Party next week…so two adults and three kids. I love you all.
