We started Mother's Morning Out this week. All went well until the hand off. The Princess did not want to stay. At pick up time the teacher assured SuperNanny that the kids adjusted nicely. Mister H made SuperNanny's day with a big "HI" and a hug at the first pick up.

This weekend we went to dinner with FunUncle and Grand Boogie at a Mexican Restaurant. The music was good but the company was great. On the way home Dad saw the neon sign at Krispy Kreme all aglow. The car swerved to the right and the next thing we knew we were up to our elbows in glazed donuts. We even have hats to show it!

We had an unwelcome visitor in our corner of the world this past week. Tropical Storm Fay paid us a visit. Needless to say we were on pins and needles for a couple of days this week as she threatened to strike. As she passed through our city, over a quarter of the homes lost power. Many trees and branches succumbed to her winds but the major story was the water that she dropped. Thankfully we are in a home that is high and dry. The town is soaked. After 2 full days of being confined to our home we were all stir crazy. We did a lot of reading. We pray that Gustav does not visit.

This is the second 2sDay that TwinPop has been late with the posting! Sorry, to all who visited earlier and did not find fresh content. This week has been a blur. We had a nice weekend. After stumbling over the twin bike carrier that we have had in our garage for about a year we decided to put it to use. To our surprise it did not take much work to get it and our bikes ready for the road. The little guys really liked riding behind Mom. It only took about 15 minutes before they were out. Mom and Dad especially enjoyed it as we have a new outlet for exercise.
